2008 UFirst™ 2nd Annual International Convention Review

“UFirst™ held its 2nd Annual International Convention at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, June 26-28, 2008. This exciting event marked the official launch of Money Merge Account® Pro and Express in the U.S. and Canada. These products opened up the door to many more potential clients and provided additional diversification to Agents, thus strengthening the company’s position as a major force in the financial industry.

Pre-convention events included an exclusive get away for Branch Managers, featuring a Scramble Best Ball Golf Tournament, tennis and lunch at the prestigious St. Ives Country Club. Top company leaders also enjoyed a special Branch Managers Conference, where company executives provided in-depth information and training targeted to experienced agents, and a Gala Dinner.

General Sessions began on June 26th for more than 5,000 Agents, who gained insight into the new products, sales techniques, and recruiting strategies. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from influential radio host and author, Glenn Beck; inspirational speaker and author, Mark Victor Hansen; and top field leaders such as Dave Montgomery, Sue Condon and .Barry Elrod. Founder and Publisher Andrew Waite of Personal Real Estate Investor Magazine also took the stage to present the magazine’s Editors’ Choice Award to UFirst and the Money Merge Account® program.

An unexpected surprise at the Convention was the announcement of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award® 2008 in financial services for the Utah Region given to the UFirst co-founders at an awards ceremony on June 27th in Salt Lake City. Co-founders were given a standing ovation by the Convention crowd during a special, slightly delayed broadcast of the award presentation and acceptance speech.“
